About Us Greetings from Colorado!
Alacrán Woodworks, owned and operated by brothers Brandon and Justin Bain, specializes in the design and construction of custom, freestanding furniture. Using hand tools, old-fashioned joinery and the finest American Hardwoods, the Bain brothers build heirloom quality furniture pieces to be used and enjoyed for generations. Their style, centered around the mining history of the San Juan Mountains, also incorporates the simple strength of Japanese joinery with the visible structure of Arts and Crafts era designs.
“When designing a piece of furniture, function & strength come first. We try to bring aspects of our outside surroundings into the home, creating a refined look with a natural feel.”
